Only a couple of years old, Blue Door offers a panoramic view of islands and sea, including an active Eagle's nest, with a recently hatched Eaglet (See above).

This upstairs studio apartment is perfect for a single or couple that seeks a place to soak in an Alaskan sunrise and enjoy the wilderness that abounds. Hummingbirds, eagles and more are frequently seen, as well as whales and fishing vessels in the harbor.

Blue Door Upper is about 4 miles from the heart of Sitka. Located at the top of Valhalla Drive, it has one of the best views in Sitka. It has a queen bed and a queen futon, a full kitchen and a walk-in shower.
