Imagine a place where eagles make themselves at home in your own backyard. A place where mist drifts inbetween the trees, teasing your senses with images of forested islands dotting the ocean view.

Such is Blue Door on Valhalla - a 500 sq. ft. first floor studio cottage, built for the occassional visitor that wants to get away to contemplate the beauty of Alaska.

Only a couple of years old, Blue Door offers a panoramic view of islands and sea, including an active Eagle's nest, with a recently hatched Eaglet.

Blue Door sleeps up to 5 people.It is located at the top of Valhalla, which is located north of town, about 4 miles from downtown Sitka.

It comes complete with all linens, dishes, towels, sheets and such, as well as cable tv and modem for your computer.
